📡 GPS Antenna Note

An active GPS antenna is not included with the PiMesh-1W. Active GPS antennas are available separately and are required for GPS functionality. Using the PiMesh-1W without a GPS antenna is perfectly safe.

⚡ PoE Module Compatibility Note

The PiMesh-1W supports optional Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) modules, with important requirements depending on power level:

• 9W PoE modules work with most standard 802.3af PoE switches and injectors.
• 30W PoE modules (Silvertel AG 5400) require a PoE+ (802.3at) capable switch or injector. Some lower-power or older PoE switches may not negotiate correctly or may fail to power the board.

DO NOT POWER THE BOARD WITH USB IF THE POE MODULE IS ATTACHED

If you are unsure whether your switch supports PoE+, please verify compatibility before use.
